“I am her” or “she is her” have become common phrases in American pop-culture to refer to a woman who is making “the right” moves in life. It is a statement used to proclaim someone as the best at her craft or on the way to becoming one of the best. It can also be used as a term of solidarity amongst women to suggest we are all the same and should stand with one another. On the surface, this latter definition seems pure intentioned; but upon taking a deeper dive, it is rooted in a prideful attempt to usurp God’s definition of a woman. It aims to make “woman” some ambiguous word to describe anyone who wants to be called one.
The world’s system, with its hedonistic ideology, is horrible at defining who we are. Simply put, it has no authority to define us. Only God can do this. He is our Creator and only He can say who He created us to be. To reiterate… Only God can say who He created YOU to be. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. You are not her. You are you!

God made you with attention to detail and great intention. He didn’t make you to be a carbon copy of another woman. He formed you uniquely with His purpose in mind. His works are marvelous. Every detail about you was created with purpose and on purpose by God. You are His masterpiece!
Yes, you are an adult human female (the very definition of a woman), and with this comes so many blessings from God. However, God has given each woman her own individual uniqueness that is packaged in purpose. Even identical twin sisters are unique individuals purposed by God to pursue His individual mission for their lives.
It’s up to you to find out God’s purpose for you. When you discover who you are, you will see that you are unstoppable. God wants you to be who He made you to be in order to fulfill His purpose in and through you. God’s BeYOUties, you are not her; be YOU!
