Be Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving God’s BeYOUties!!!!! I hope this letter of thanksgiving encourages you to reflect on the goodness of our Father God.

Sometimes we get so caught up in what we don’t have and what we want, that we forget to be thankful for all that we do have. As women, we have our times of the month when hormones can get the best of us, or maybe you exhibit more sensitivity than the opposite gender. But let me share with you why you should not cry, but rejoice because you have so many things to be thankful for. Just open your eyes to this world of greatness, beauty and amazement that God has created. And enjoy each day! Need a reminder of what you should be thankful for, ladies? Then read on and I will share these gifts you already possess to be thankful for!

Here are my top things every woman should be thankful for:

We should be thankful for our beautiful womanly bodies that God so carefully and delicately handcrafted. Every curve is there for a reason, and is BEAUTIFUL! We have been so blessed to be delicate flowers, but strong enough to bear children; strong enough to wear many hats (mother, wife, sister, aunt, friend), but delicate enough to be someone’s peace.

God created us women with feelings, and we should be so grateful for this. We have the capacity to be compassionate, and love unconditionally and endlessly, effortlessly – because that’s how our Father made us… and that’s how He loves us!

Last, but certainly not least, we MUST be thankful for… today. Each and every day is a gift, and another opportunity to exemplify the bold and beautiful creations we are. We are God’s BeYOUties… made in HIS image and likeness… created with the mind of Christ. Every day we wake up is another opportunity to make a difference, and share the love of Jesus.

It’s so good to be alive… and ladies, we have so much to be thankful for. I encourage you this day to take some time and reflect on all that God has done for you. You may not be exactly where you want, but thank God you don’t look like what you’ve been through!! Hallelujah!!
