Peace in the Midst of the Storm

Life at times can bring pressure, unexpected changes and many adversities. We can go from one problem to the next and unknowingly carry the weight and stress of those situations. Chaos and disarray may describe our current environment, but we can still operate and function in calmness and order.
In our own strength, it may be difficult, but thank God, we don’t have to do this alone. God wants to help us, in every area and He’s ready to be involved, right now! He’s ready for us to experience His PEACE and when we have the Peace of God, we will have that blessed assurance. When God gives us His Word, we can truly rest in it!
We may feel so overwhelmed and frustrated, but know that, nothing is too difficult for God. In Mark 9:23, it states, “…If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” God wants us to believe and receive His peace because He knows that it will change our mindset and give us rest, regarding the final result.
In John 14:27, it states, “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” How awesome is that! “God’s peace” is nothing like the “world’s peace!” God’s peace will help us in our storm and when we accept His peace, it will protect our hearts from trouble and fear.
It’s so great to have God on our side! I have had many storms in my life and there’s nothing like having the peace of God, to see me through it! God loves us so much and He wants us all to go through our storm with peace and confidence. He wants us to trust and have faith in Him and His Word. In 1 Peter 5:7, it states, “casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.” God truly cares and He wants all of us to walk in His peace!
Peace, peace, God’s peace… It’s so far reaching! His peace will not only bless us in our storm, but it will be a testimony to others. Everyone loves a success story! Having God’s peace will be a witness of how we got over our storm! You see, God is a Big God and He does nothing small! As He help us, He will help others because we trusted in Him. With God, things multiply and increase, for His Glory!
In Isaiah 26:3, it states, “Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.” So, let us start trusting God today! It is time to release our cares over to Him and begin to receive His wonderful peace! God’s peace is not just for the storms in our lives, but it is for every single day! Peace and tranquility belong to us, but we must release the cares, trust in Him and receive His Word! It is now time to speak to our storm, “PEACE BE STILL!” Glory to God!
“And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm." -Mark 4:39
